WE GOTTA BE ROLE MODELS FOR OUR CHILDREN..........

“Children today have no idea what awaits them in the future and we need to wake up and get a reality check if we suppose to be role models. I remembered growing up in Norfolk’s Diggs Park Projects where we had respect for our elders with moral standards and corporal punishment plus it was the last place I saw a neighborhood treated us as their own kids with community togetherness and the churches were involved too. I credit that moment in my life cause they were the true role models for us. Today we have NO type of preparations for our children so they don’t self-destruct nor do we emphasis the word of God to them, but we focus more on unrealistic negativity and not being a role model. We have lost our moral code and community awareness which continues to plague the black community. I am happy to say that I have met young gangbangers here in Los Angeles who have respected me cause I come to them as a big homie, a friend and a father figure. So I am proud to be a role model for youth here in L.A. cause its my purpose to give back to where it all started….”
